Bottle bought at the Schönbrunn market, and consumed from the bottle. The aroma is cola, maple, mild espresso, cocoa, cinnamon, and dates. Sweet and malty, with a light bitterness. Medium body, chewy, and a bit sharp. Lovely.

Clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of mid sweet plums, dark malts, some chocolate. Mid sweet dark malt, chocolate, plums, mild sourness.

Dunkler, malzig-pflaumiger Beginn. Leicht erhörte Karbonisierung, milde Herbe, rund. Etwas bitter, deutlich malzig bleibend, mittellanger Abgang, nett. 9/8/9/8/8/8

Die relativ neue Brauerei aus Schiltern bei Krems an der Donau gab 2019 dieses BIer heraus, welches sich bis heute gehalten hat. Es ist ein schwarzes Porterbier, das mit Powidl (= ein österreichisches bzw. tschechisches bzw. polnisches Wort für Pflaumenmus) gebraut wurde und daher recht süß ist. Der Schnitt zwischen kakao-röstigen Aromen und der süßen Zwetschke gelingt aber sehr gut und man bekommt ein volles Bier mit interessanten Aromenspiel. NIchr für jedermann und auch nicht für jeden Abend, aber hie und da kann ich es mir ganz gut vorstellen; besonders als Beilage zu süßen Nachspeisen.

Bottle. Thanks Hrabren! Murky brown-red, off white head. Malt, some spices too. Dusty-malty, oranges... Simple, dusty, malty-fruity-sweetish. Okay.

0.33 l bottle from Beerlovers, Vienna. Shared with Marko at the 1 Miru hostel in Prague. Lots of fake fruity character, not much roasty or toasty malt notes. Caramel. Brown sugar. Sweet sugary candy like. Slightly metallic. Light body, watery texture.

0,33l from bottle at Känguruh Pub Vienna. Black color, small tan head. Smells of cocoa, earthy, plums, berry notes, light sweetness. Nice smell. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of bitter chocolate, earthy, light berry notes, plums, some sweetness. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of plums, earthy and chocolates notes. Quite nice one, very smooth to drink
