Cask at Crosse Keys (Spoons), Gracechurch Street, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Yeasty, spice aroma. Tastes yeasty, spice, citrus fruit, quite bitter. Didn’t pick up any pumpkin. Not bad.

Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; clear golden yellow pout with off white head, spice aroma, taste has orange, spice, clove, a hint of wheat, some citrus, pleasant lunchtime surprise at my local Spoons.

Cask at the Maidenhead Inn (JDW), Basingstoke. Pale amber with a thick white head; lemony citrus aroma; grainy body with a citrus taste; and some spice to finish. Very drinkable.

Cask, handpump The Penny Black, JDW Bicester, Saturday 7th December 2013 Pours warm amber with thin white head, a little soapy, I even pick up a little radox, pine maybe showing. Not sure I get the pumpkin but this is truly gorgeous stuff. Excellent beer, quite thick in mouth, bitterness really hangs in there, bit dry at end and lengthy bitterness. Very nice, not sure that it is that Saisony but it’s good nonetheless. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask @ Railway Inn (JDW), Rushden. Dark gold, slightly hazy. Bit of head, heavy lacing. Fruity, toffee and yeasty aroma Amazing taste: extreme bitterness with a squash-like (pumpkin?) flavour, finish too bitter but aftertaste is lovely and yeasty. Gets better and better over the course of the pint.
