A deep amber beer brewed with pale ale and black malt and hopped with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvign, Moteuka and Wakatu. Oats provide smoothness and body and a small amount of spruce tips provide a resinous pine note

Cask at the Carpenters Arms, Tourist Town, 19/11/14. Golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is toffee apple, kiwi fruit, floral punch, melon. Taste comprises caramel malt, blood orange, peachy licks. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough fayre, amber for me, doesn’t quite carry enough hop presence for a SIPA, definately NOT a bitter!

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - loads going on. Lychee and melon. Biscuits and toffee lurking in the background. Taste - citrus and tropical fruit generally. Then toffee and biscuit comes through to balance it. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - really lovely and complex beer.

Cask @ Victoria Family & Commercial Hotel, Leeds. Nicholson’s Beer Festival. Copper red with a creamy head. Lots of peach in both its aroma and taste, very fruity for it and a light easy drinking texture.
