Launched in June 2004 to celebrate Cotleigh's 25th Anniversary. Cotleigh 25 became an instant success and was listed as a permanent brand. It was awarded "Best Alcohol Drink" in London at The Excellence in Food and Drinks Awards 2006. An explosion of flavours originating from American Cascade hops gives this brilliant pale golden beer a fresh aroma and fruit filled finish.

Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading. Amber with no trace of head; citrus aroma; clean grassy flavour with honey sweetness.

From cask at Charlies. Pours coudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity with notes of oranges and peaches. Peachy flavoured, light sweetness. Bitter and fruity finish. Nice and crisp.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy golden beer with a thin bubbly off-white head. The aroma is light with a bit of malt and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with light notes malt, lemon, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber. Sweaty citric hoppy nose. Sweet and light bodied with some chewy malt. Vague notes of vegetables, fairly low bitterness. Doesn’t quite follow through on it promising aroma.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Amber colour with foamy white head. Fruity nose with notes of grapefruit, mandarin and apricots, slightly soapy. Fruity taste with grapefruit and mandarin. Hoppy bitterness arrives immediately but is fairly short. Some sweetness, drier finish. Rather thin body. Refreshing and summery.

Cask conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Golden with next to no head. Aroma was fruity with some supporting floral hops. The flavour was a touch sweet with a decent dry finish. Would agree with earlier comments that this is more of a bitter than a golden ale, but it was pleasant, easy drinking.
