Cask gravity at Tonbridge Rugby Club Winter Festival. Black dark brown beer thin tan head. Light diacetyl on the aroma. Bonfire smoke. Dark Chocolate. Light ginger lacks some condition . Some bitterness on the finish. Some spice. Ok. A juicy stout.

440ml can from Hop Vault, Stourbridge, online. Pours black, small tanned head, some retention. A lovely intensity to the aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some toffee. Taste is dark chocolate and roast, a light blackberry note in the middle, a coffee like bitterness in the finish. A fairly smooth medium body with a nice soft carbonation. This is an excellent session stout, I'm impressed.

Cask at EBF Summer 22. Aroma is rich and chocolatey. Malt and chocolatey with underlying berries. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Yum.

Cask at The Craven Arms, Birmingham. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate taste/aroma. Slightly burnt/ashy tasting stout, nice one.

Well now then, this is a lovely creamy stout. Pours near black with a creamy off-white head, and a delicious aroma of roasted malt with touches of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Medium to full bodied, creamy and smooth, with roasted malt, dark fruits, coffee and chocolate in the mix, a touch of vanilla and a hint of liquorice, with a satisfying dry bitterness

Third by cask, shared with Finn on the third day of GBBF Winter 20, Iron Bridge Bar. Pitch black in the glass, spotty lacing, fawn-head. Chocolate malts on the nose, woody. Comprehensive taste profile including smoked dark malts, oak, dark berries and dark fruits. Roasted malty berries to the ending. Different and quite nice. (Birmingham 06.02.2020).
