From cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours black with a short lasting off-white head. Nice roasted aroma with chocolate, coffee and malt. Light sweetness, and mild roasted bitterness. Medium bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Finish is very dry, with a lasting feel of bitter dark chocolate.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 8/4/2016. Jet black and opaque, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of toasted malts, chocolate and liquorice, with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour had some dark fruits, with more chocolate, dense malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Keg at Eebria, Bermondsey, London, Saturday 12th December 2015 Pours black with a light beige head. A good fruity beer, some ash and burnt wood type flavours but this has a nice roastiness throughout. Really like this, itโs smooth and full flavoured. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
