Obadiah Poundage is dark brown in colour, and has flavours of liquorice, treacle and a dark caramel sweetness from Crystal and Dark Crystal malts, balanced with roast coffee flavours from Brown and Chocolate malts.

Bree Louise. Cask. Clear deep brown - amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and almost carbonation free. Semi dry. Very tangy malts, touch of dark chocolate and artificial tasting chocolate. Mild ripe fruits. Light semi dry finish. Flat and overly tangy.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise - London. Pours dark brown with a faint crm top. The nose holds creamy cocoa, dark fruits, berries, soft roast. Light sweet flavor with some further ripening berries, dark toffee, chocolate pudding, minimal bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and oily texture. Sweet finish with dark bread, creamy toffee and chocolate, dark fruits. OK.
