Sir John Oldcastle Spoons. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry with fine carbonation. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Smooth pale malt, with light sweetness. The hops are mellow but flavoursome and juicy. Light fresh orange, touch of orange squash. Whispers of lemon and grapefruit but it is a juicy tangerine keeps me coming back for another sip. Little floralness. Finishes semi dry with a mild bitter linger. Good stuff, very drinkable.
