Bottle at Leighton’s place. Huge thanks to Leighton. Mahogany brown reddy coloured pour with a thin off white head. Aroma is light jammy fruits, brown bread toast, little citrus. Little soap on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of nutty, brown bread, jammy, berry fruits, light citrus, grainy. Palate is light, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Sticky hop. Decent black ipa.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at the Lab. Pours dark brown with a frothy beige head. The nose has a gold bit of roasted malts, burnt pine, cocoa. Light sweet flavor with some grapefruit, orange rind, burnt toast, ash, minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. More ashy roast on the finish, baking cocoa, earthy bitterness, some alcohol, some oily pine. Solid.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours black with a thick tan head. The nose is rich roast, rocky road, burnt taffee, light spice, liquorice and some stewed orange. The taste is bitter, decent roast, soapy citrus, liquorice, soft, umami, piney fresh and some burnt grass with a dry, roasts finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty tame cda, but pretty drinkable.
