2013 vintage from the Waitrose on Gloucster Road. Pours rather perry color. Aroma is mildly tart apple skin. Med minus body. Flavor is tart/sweet. Actually something for the pool. Tends towards a bit sweet over time. Actually pleasant to drink, but so is soda.

50cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell.2013 Vintage A really pale wine-like colour, with lots of gas to start, but settling back quickly to a flat headless state with very light carbonation; floral aroma; clean and crisp in the mouth with a floral taste, slightly acidic and with some initial sweetness before a drying finish. A refreshing summery cider that’s probably best with food so that the acidity is muted.

Bottled. A light golden cider. The aroma has notes of apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples and acidic fruits, leading to a tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle from Waitrose, Headington, oxford, consumed 13-09-09 Pours light lemony colour busy carbonation. Light appley aroma, appley in the mouth but taste is veering towards the commercial end of the market and its also a little artificially sweet, lacks a good bite and tang but its ok. Bottle. Very pale one, just a little yellow note, and clear. Quite weak aroma, with apples, yeast and some barnyard. There’s more flavor than aroma, with apples, yeast and some barnyard. Medium mouthfeel with some sweetness and astringency. A bit too weak cider, but balanced. (070430)
