Nice clarity a golden orange. Sticky head. Got this on draft. Soft floral aromatics with passion fruit. Not a lot of flavor. Thin and oily. Has some floral notes and pineapple. Taste fades fast.

Draft at Beer Run, 7/26/14. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin creamy off-white head. Aroma of doughy malt, tropical and fruity hops. The taste is doughy malt, bright citrus and tropical fruit. Medium bodied. Solid.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/27/2014. Moderate gusher upon opening. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate pale malt sweetness; with a crisp bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very good session IPA. All around good complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Aroma: The aroma is actually pretty nice, lots of grapefruit/citrus, some pine, and pale malts
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a lasting fizz of white head and sticky lace
Flavor: The flavor leans fairly hoppy, mild sweetness, and a nice, clean hop bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, but not watery at all, with an average-to-lively carbonation
Overall Impression: This is actually a better than expected Session IPA. Blue Point, at least for me, seems to be very hit or miss, and this one is a hit. One of the better things I've had from these guys.

Bouteille 330ml. Couleur orangée translucide, mousse blanche crémeuse. Arôme d’agrumes, clémentine, poivré léger, malt pâle. Goût de clémentine, malt, résineux, amertume contrôlée. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-faible.

Bottle at the cabin - Canaan, NH. Pours perfectly pale gold, effervescent, with a frothy, white head. Has an absolutely beautiful nose. Honestly, can mosaic do no wrong? Chock full of pithy grapefruit, mellow urine, lemon. The flavor follows on nicely, with moderate sweetness, dry and pale bread, lightly juicy citrus, lots of pith, light bitter lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, fairly dry, with a slight mineral dee and lingering pithy citrus notes. Solid offering.

On tap at Doherty’s Alehouse Warwick. Hazy golden color. Onion and garlic dominate the aroma and flavor. Decent, but not something I’d likely grab again.

New Beer Distributors, NYC 12oz ($2): Pours dark golden with thin white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, especially a whole load of grapefruit. Taste is hoppy at the front, with plenty of tropical fruit. Maltiness is really attenuated and sort of just disappears. I really feel like there is not enough malt. But, I suppose that is the point.
