Keg at the Plasterers Arns - Norwich. Pours deep brown with a dense, lasting beige cream head. Toasty pine in the nose, mellow cocoa, notes of grapefruit and orange. Medium sweet flavor with further rindy citrus, orange and grapefruit, moderate roast, some baking cocoa, scorched earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation and massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous not the finish, with bitter orange rind, pithy grapefruit, baking cocoa, scorched earth, ashy roast. A good all-around CDA.

500ml bottle from Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours black with minimal bubbly head, almost completely flat sadly. Rotten leafy veg aroma. Taste is slightly watery with deflated roast in a ’left-on-the-windowsill-overnight’ kinda way. Sorry something really didn’t go right with the bottling. Drain-pour.
