A delicious blend of malts provide this dark stout with a smooth finish, with coffee and caramel tastes being complemented by a hint of blackcurrant provided by Bramling Cross hops.

Cask at Shepherd’s Bush (Wetherspoons), London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, slight sweetness. A nice easy drinking session stout from Dorking.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW - London. Pours dark, brown-red with a frothy tan cap. Milky cocoa nose, subtly roasty. Light sweet flavor with chalky cocoa, milk chocolate, light roast, soft earthy bitterness ans a bit of ash. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance to finish, more moderately milk chocolate, hints of ashy roast. A totally fine, highly sessionable oatmeal stout.
