A pint from the cask at the brewpub on my visit in April. A decent golden ale.

Third of a pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Clean golden body, white crown. Refreshing and crisp blonde, light floral nose with a pale malty undertone flavour wise.

Cask. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is mild nectar, some wood, herbs, a bit sweet and bready malts as well as some slight berries. Flavour is wooden, herbal, mild nectary and honey like sweetness along with a mild floral bitterness to it.

Cask (Joiners Arms, Bishopston): deep golden, small, stable creamy lacing head; mild, but distinctive bitter-hoppy nose with traces of yeast; distinctive dry bitter flavour, light bodied; short fruity and bitter finish. Pleasant and tasty............
