Cask at the Woolpack Beer Festival 08, Banbury, Oxon, in the company of Glen, Trev and a good sprinkling of local CAMRA members Pours light mid-gold no head had good clarity. Quite a tangy beer and very drying towards the end, real nice crsip bite and with a hard edge to this beer, quite challenging at times. I really wanted to like this beer as my previous experience with Nelson has been in bottle and they’ve not been to great, but I ended up just thinking that it was ok, still that marks a significant improvement for me with nelson beers, good on em’.
