Bottle shared at the level 42, 24/05/2016. Thanks to Paul for this. Pale yellow coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is weird tangy caramel yogurt, apple crumble, peach. Flavour is composed of sweet tangy, apple, caramel, fudge, no rum, caramac bar. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, thin. Weird.

Can split at Level 42, thanks to ScoOpeye, 24/05/16. Pale golden blonde with a decent white cap. Nose is cheap fudge, sickly tones - like the steps of the Stenna Hibernia after a pike fuelled crossing from Dun Laoghaire to Holydead, weak vanilla. Taste comprises sweet malt, more cheap clotted cream fudge, sweet and sickly, faint caramel, straw, grain. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet close. Meh.

Can shared at level 42. It pours clear yellow with a massive foamy white head. The aroma is rich, creamy, spicy, caramac, worthers original, snowball, Scottish tablet and sweet fruits. The taste is creamy, sweet, buttery, toffee, Scottish tablet, caramac, sweet lemon, spice and fudge with a sweet, cheap fudge finish. Light body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Fucken weird, but better than expected.

440ml can. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma is corn, vanilla and artificial rum flavouring. Taste is sweet and sugary. Corn on the finish. Some fruity rum.

Can from B&M, Halifax. Blonde with a small head. The rum flavouring is dominant and hides the fosters lager taste, although it’s not particularly appealing alternative taste to the original. It does provide a small smoothness to the beer though which is fine in the palate. There’s rum in its aroma.

Keg at Victoria Inn Chester; clear straw yellow pour with a thin white head, sweet aroma with a hint of spice, taste has spiced rum with some sweet malt action, surprisingly refreshing.
