Cask at the Bull Islington. Light amber. Pine, grapefruit, yah di yah di yah. Your bog standard IPA, although being on cask it’s got a better mouthfeel than some. Maybe a tad sweeter than the norm too. It’s fine but it’s been done so many times, and done better too. Yawn.

On cask in London. Smooth and nice fresh beginning. Easy to drink, fresh and smooth. Moderate bitter aftertaste with herbal parts. Great sessionable with a nice earthy floral hoppy aftertaste. Nice.

Cask @ Punch Bowl, York. Clear golden with a creamy head. Has a malty nose, with a dryish pale ale texture, that’s hoppy and mildly fruity in character.
