Cask handpump at The Mug House, Claines, Worcester, Saturday 7th May 2016 Pours crystal clear gold with a white head, a lovely fresh, subtle hop and malt nose. This isn’t the hoppy assault on the senses that you get from many beers these days, however fair play to Wychwood it’s not bad, lemony, malty a reasonable session beer in spankingly good nick. Half pint, hand-pulled cask ale at Lamb & Snake. Faint white head to a clear golden body. Spotty lacing down the glassware. Floral hoppy smell. Fruity hoppy flavours mixed with mid-sweet, pale malts followed by a mild bittersweet ending. Easy going, summer feel (Lincoln 12.07.2014).
