Bottleshare at Mr Smith’s pad. Thanks to Colin. Opaque dark brown beer, thin pale tan head. Smooth dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Tangy mid brings a trace of malt roast. Sweet coconut on the dry finish. It’s fine but there have been many better coconut stouts than this.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 14/04/2016. Many thanks to Colin for this one. Pitch black coloured pour With a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is earthy, coconut, woody, roast, toasted coconut, choc, Flavour is composed of palm sugars, coconut, vanilla, roast. Palate is thin mineral moderate carbonation. Meh.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Cloin. Pours deep black-brown with a creamy, beige head. The aroma holds burnt cereal, mellow chocolate, hints of earth. Light sweet flavour with faint ripe berries, some rubbery cocoa, earthy bitterness, slight vanilla. Medium bodied with fine carboantion. Finishes with bittersweet cocoa, burnt earth, light toasted almond, burnt grains. Not bad overall.

Keg at Twisted Barrel Taproom, 04/03/16. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is light roast, chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises Bounty Bar, sweet malt, Chocolate, toasty, faint roasted tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coconut infused stout, good balance, never gets too sweet.
