A classic stout. Hopped with Pacific Jade for bittering and Summit midway and boil end for aroma & flavour. Conditioned on fresh lemon zest and vanilla pods.

Black beer, thin head. A very light vanilla aroma. Taste is not what I expected. I was expecting meringue-y lemon sweetness. This is some dry bitter lemon, vanilla, a hint of dark chocolate and earthy malt.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Dave. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy tan head. Definitely some ginger in the aroma, a bit of lemon peel, hints of roast. Light sweet flavour with floral hops, toasted ginger, ashy bitterness, zesty citrus. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Finishes with nips of bittersweet baking cocoa, ash, more ginger, zesty lemon. Fun, novel.

Eebria Tap Room Takeover. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, touch of roasty bitterness. Vanilla smooth things out and then marmalade kicks in and morphs in to lemon rind that gets stronger in the aftertaste. Bitter roast and lemon zest aftertaste. Madder than a box of frogs, but somehow it works!
