A deliciously rich and smooth coffee milk stout, brewed using Edgcumbes coffee beans which were roasted and ground on the same day as we brewed the beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol October 2016. Near black in colour with a moderately sized, tan, head. Aroma of milk chocolate, black coffee and toasty malts, with a hint of vanilla. Flavour had chocolate sweetness, some berries, a creamy edge and gentle finish. My favourite beer of this Wetherspoons’ festival.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys JDW London. Black beer lasting tan head. Plenty of coffee on the aroma. More coffee in the flavour too with a little milk chocolate. Dry. Roasty. Yes decent if unsubtle. Bit roasty to be pleasant. Not smooth .
