I had somewhat expected this to be the best of their lineup, I suspected they were turning it up to 11 on the hoppiness, but it was pretty much a middle of the road classic west coast IPA. Nothing wrong with that but not living up to the name though. So, mostly light citrus and resin notes in aroma and flavor, with a clean neutral malt profile, with some hints at caramel.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s gaff. Big thanks to Leighton for the can. Almost clear gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, quite sweet. Minerally orange and orange peel. Light tangerine. Dry floralness. Light finish. Spicy linger. Decent.

Can shared in London - picked up near Buffalo. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Semi-ripe citrus in the nose, some orange rind, hay, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with light piney bitterness, more semi-ripe citrus, rindy orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further juicy citrus, dry pale malts. Pretty decent but not spectacular.

Taste comprises soft bread, orange peel, lemon rind, melon, hint of grapefruit, toasted grains.
