Keg at the TTO at BD Brighton. It pours hazy dark brown with a medium light tan head. The aroma is toasted malt, sweet dark fruits, jammy, dried berry, sugared lemons, spice, Christmas cake and vanilla. The taste is toasty, roasted malt, earth, funk, charred action, sweet - sour, tangy lemon, dark fruits, wood, whisky action, light vanilla, tannin, mild acidity and spice. Finish is toasty and woody. Medium + body and moderate carbonation. Pretty interesting stuff. Wasn’t expecting such a dark beer for a whisky sour.
