A clear dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, light treacle, pleasant piney hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with molasses, butterscotch, candy sugar, light bodied, a bit of roasted notes, OK. Bottle at Montréal Xmas gathering 2015.

Bottle share from Jeremy. This one walked a fine line between porter and something a bit more potent. excellently captured the nature of the sweet/roasty style without overdoing, or undercutting, either.

Bottle, pours a dark brown with a thin beige cap. Nose is roasty, lightly sweet. Faint espresso. Taste is roasty, light cocoa, light mocha. I can imagine the popcorn, but its not obvious. Great stuff though.
