Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear copper coloured pour with a lasting uniform beige head. Aroma is twiggy nutty malts, tangy woody berries, woodland walk. Palate is semi sweet, moderate cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, tangy woody, twig, bark, earthy berries. Cranberry. Not bad.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A reddish amber pour with a ring of cream head; malty aroma; spicy malt taste with a woody bitterness; then a biscuity finish with lingering bitter herbs. Not bad.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Dark with a thick head. Sweeter than expected, which perhaps subdues its coffee as this was not found on this occasion.
