Farewell Bespin Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Mild gusher. Light haze on this gold beer, good cream colour head. Very airy palate and pretty dry. Mild minerally carbonation. Dry floralness. A little bitter seltzer. Musty fruits with a trace of brighter orange and lenon. Dry floral finish. Not rigbt to style but avoids disaster.

Bottle shared at Leightons place, 19/01/2017. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a. Frothy white head. Aroma is lemon rind, rustic grains, midget gems, sweet tangerine. Spicy citrus hop. Flavour is composed of light grains, hay, vanilla, straw, midget gems, lemon rind. Palate is frorhy, highish carbonation, drying finish. Pretty good.

Bottle at home in London. Mild gusher! ours hazy gold with moderate effervescence and a frothy, off-white head. There’s a bit of dry wheat in the aroma, subtle saison yeast, some lemon zest. Light sweet flavor with pithy citrus, faint grapefruit, some bitter pine needles and orange rind, pale grains, wheat, slight yeast, biscuits. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Very clean on the finish, more pithy citrus, rindy bitterness, very mild sweetness. It’s a really nice beer. At 2.8%, you really can’t pack a lot of character into the beer (you can load it up with hops but then you run the risk of making it unbalanced and/or too bitter), but there’s just enough to keep this one interesting while also being very refreshing.
