23/8/2024. Keg at Briarbank’s 2024 Summer Beer Festival. Pours clear orange gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is wheaty, floral, citrus, bitter orange, grain, straw. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Very nice bitterness to finish. Enjoyable.

Keg at the maypole Cambridge. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a frorhy white head. Aroma is soft wheat, zesty citrus, little soapy, little peppercorn. Flavour is composed of semi sweet doughy, zesty lime and little grassy. Palate is crisp, highish spritzy carbonation.. Little milky. Good.

Keg at the Pembury, 01/03/17. Golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is spice, floral notes, white pepper, bread dough, Bergamot evident. Taste comprises tangerine, white peppery spice, parma violets, floral strains, straw, lemon rind, perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop spattering. Ok floral/herbal kind of affair ... holds the interest but I couldn’t drink this in vast quantities.

Keg at Pembury. It pours bright golden with medium white head. The nose is fresh, fragrant, floral, herbal, orange peel, cracker and white bread. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, straw, herbal, spicy, floral, citrus peel, pithy, straw and cracker with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not a traditional spa, but pretty enjoyable nonetheless.

Keg tap at the Maypole, Cambridge. I heard Milton were expanding into keg, so I jumped at the chance to try this. Amber with a small but handsome white head. Peach, passion fruit, papaya with cinnamon and gentle tea leaves in the nose. Taste is bitter, a bit harsh and messy. Intense tannin in the finish. Way-too-strong tea and some bitter fruit in the unrelenting aftertaste. Needs work. Drinkable and even enjoyable but I like more finesse from my mid- to high-strength beers.
