Bottle from the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep amber to brown with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - pine and biscuits. Then caramel kicks in. Marmalade. Taste - marmalade on toast. Marmite. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - enjoyable.

Bottle 50 cl. Batch 06, 4.6% ABV. Pours a cloudy amber with a lacing off-white head. Lovely tropical melange in the nose, all great aroma hops. Medium body, hardly any carbonation, dry caramel and nuts and again this melange of tropical hops. Ends dry with a decent bitterness. Really lacks carbonation. 090616

Bottle at home in London - picked up from some web shop. Pours clear reddish gold with a thick, frothy off-white head. Lovely aroma with notes of dried berries, crackers, toasted grains, pine. Light-medium sweet flavor with further dried, leathery berries, toasty bread, grain, some graham crackers, orange rind, very mild toffee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish with some citrusy and piney hops, further toasty grains and crackery malts, bread. Great stuff. Not a flashy beer but totally sound on all fronts.
