Bottleshare at Leighton’s Gaff. Light haze on this deepish amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, decent carbonation. Thin malts which do not bring much sweetness, trace of bitter toffee. Light generic fruits. Bitter floral on the semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Fine.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Ken. Pours clear red-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose has a little ham, toasted bread, earth, berries. Light sweet flavour with subtle smoke, dried berries, a little saison yeast, brown bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with light alcohol war,th, candied ham, further saison yeast, toast. Novel, enjoyable.
