Bottle split at L42, thanks to Leighton, 23/01/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is melon, straw, light passionfruit, tangerine, grains. Taste comprises melon, bread dough, toasted grains, orange pith, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop finale. Drinkable number but a good few notches behind it’s contemporaries.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Pretty hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, reasonable carbonation. Dry pale malts, modestly sweet. Dry pith citric hop. Decent pine. Dry finish brings mild hop spice. Over dry but hoppy.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from UBREW. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Dry pale bread in the nose, rindy citrus, pithy grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with more rindy citrus, pale bread, hay, biscuits, citrus pith. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, with more pith, dried pale malts, pine needles. Actually, not bad.
