This universe ends somewhere. Beyond the garnish glam of today’s shiny baubles, lies a disjointed, rather chaotic world of the mind’s creation. Governing the bounds of this visual exploration are no laws or rules, just imagination. Here reside the amalgamated bastards of thought, the tattered remains of contempt and the evocative burst of pure bliss. Met with the confines of reality, we ascend with this worthy receptacle. Theorized of Pilsner, oats, rye, and a blend of six otherworldly hops, this IPA is dry-hopped twice and fermented on our house yeast. Made to quell our innermost fears. Derived from our most outward desires.

12 ounce can. Cloudy pale gold color. Fluffy white head. Fragrant citrus hop nose has light vinous notes. Tart malt flavor upfront. Pleasant creamy texture from the flaked oats. Plenty of juicy, fruity hops in middle. Notes of peach, lime, mango and lemon. Light, crisp dry finish hints at pine needles. Overall, quite refreshing, though lacking in complexity.

Can from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is mostly white grape. Med + body. Flavor is grape and musty fruit with some sort of tropical. It is very dry, very hoppy and bitter. Strong flavors in a pleasing combo. Recommended.

Pretty good IPA, a notable showcase for the Nelson Sauvin, offering up distinct fruity undertones with a white grape juice sweetness. Pils base leaves the malts somewhat bland and nondescript, yet a honey note backs up the more citric hop layers, leading to a modest pine-needle finish. A bit light on the back end, lacking much bitterness and leaning more pilsner-ish than wanted, save for the noticeable hit of rye bread. Peach, grape, and pils malt on the nose, and the pour comes out a slightly hazed yellow-gold with a moderate white head and mild lacing. Good feel, smooth and light. Drinkable, but a bit bland.
