From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, spicy. Sweet and bitter spicy taste like aroma. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was hot peppers, a bit of roasty malts and ansie. The flavor was hot peppers, smoke, toasty malts and a hint of anise. Long toasty smoke and hot pepper finish. Medium body. Ok.

Sample at ACAT. Black, of course, with practically no head. Amazing nose, with chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, and perfect pepper character. Sweet flavor, but the vegetal character is a bit too much, and it’s too hot. Big, sticky palate. Nice, but not worth drinking a lot.

Black colour, tan head. Aroma of chocolate, chili peppers, roasted malts. Peppery flavour, chili, chocolate, light heat. Finish lingering spicy chili pepper.

Black with a medium sized tan head, good lacing. Aroma of chilies, vegetal and dark chocolate. Taste of dark malts, chocolate with a mild chili burn in the throat
A nice stout, the chili’s added just enough to enjoy them, not overpowering.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Heavy malty, earthy aroma. Starts intense malty, quite dry, notes of pepper and chili, not too intense. Finish surprisingly well balanced. Nice!

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark brown/black with garnet glints. Large dark tan head. Aroma is quite chili. Nearly full bodied. Flavor is chocolate and chili. It seems somewhat earthy. Hot, but far from "Crime". Finishes rather dry, and delicious.

Draught @ CBC 2014 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Green Flash Double Stout with Serrano Chilis ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, earthy, chili fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chili, roasted, quit hot. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140502]
