As part of the London Beer City Festival’s Battle of the Beer Shops, we have teamed up with the wonderful guys at Micro Beers to create a brand new beer. This New England IPA is the result. The antithesis of West Coast IPAs, this one has ZERO bittering hops but a massive 55kg of aroma and dry hopping going into just half a brew. Its very hazy and totally heavenly.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - Bethnal Green. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose is all dry pith and minerals. Light to medium sweet flavour with a little doughy malt, very faint butter, meringue, hay, lemon peel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes moderately sweet, with some white bread and ripe citrus fruits. Pretty so so overall.

Keg at WBB CJ. It pours turbid orange with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, ripe fruits, peach, mango, nectarine, apricot, brioche and green weedy notes. The taste is dry, soft bitterness, slightly chalky, minerals, ripe stone fruits, apricot, mango, orange marmalade, green, grassy, waxy peel, creamy and wood with a drying and green finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent go at the style. Pretty good fun.
