Bottle @ Både &, Kristiansand. Unclear dark brown body with a small, fast disappearing beige head. Aroma has smooth, dark malt, caramel, dry fruit and vinous. Flavor has sweet, dark malt, fruity, a bit sharp bitterness, vinous, and a bit boozy alcohol. Fine body and long lasting strong aftertaste. It’s nice and feels sweet and dry at the same time, but finishing the bottle I feel the Armanc/alcohol becomes a bit too boozy in the long run. Probably best for sharing.

Bakgården Både & 090618. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is armanac, roasted malt, coffee. Flavor is alcohol, armanac, roasted malt, wood, oak, caramel, smoke, vanilla, hop, pine, grapefruit, coffee, dried fruits. Powerful beer.

Bottle. A dark brown beer with a small, dense dark beige head. Lacing. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, Armanac notes, some dried fruits and a faint hint of ashtray in the aroma. It's full bodied, warming, soft and smooth, with a little bitterness to deal with the sweetness. Roasted malts, coffee notes, chocolate, booze, some dried fruits, hazelnut, pine cone hints and a little grassy touch in the flavor. Lasting finish. A delicious one indeed. Lovely. 180518
