From tap at the Grote markt in Antwerpen. Just a nice pils, bright yellow color, white head. Okay.

Sampled from 0.25 l bottle from 'Prik & Tik' (Tongeren), best before February 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains, some grass and faint hints of citrus. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite grassy taste of grains and straw, followed by a short, quite bitter, grassy and slightly metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

F: medium size, white, not good retention. C: gold, very clear. A: malt, corn, hint of grassy and caramel, like cheap lager. T: malty, watery, corn, some undefined bitterness, hint of toasted tones, taste is much better than the aroma, hint of caramel, light to medium body, medium carbonation, so at least average, 33cl can from Delhaize Chazal @ Schaerbeek in Brussels.

Tasted at BeerAttraction 2017, Rimini, Italy. Served very cold (way too cold to enjoy). Pours crisp golden with very fine white foam. Aroma is poor: just bready and generally feeling industrial. Body is medium-low with intense carbonation. Taste starts moderately sweet, with some final bitterness. Not very interesting. Finish is equally uninteresting.

500ml can into glass. 5%. Pale amber beer with thin film of suds. Light carbonation. Smells of tin and cardboard, typical euro-lager. Sweet, doughy with slightly sour finish. A beer you’ve had 1000 times under 100 different names.

Can at 5.0% ABV. Clear golden. Huge rocky head. Stays as airy lace. Clean malty aroma with somw spicy hop. Light body. Thin to oily palate. Bittersweet flavour. Grainy maltiness, grassy light to medium bitterness. Hoppy finish. Very drinkable. Simple. Well-balanced. Decent lagers like that don’t bore me.
