Bottle: Clear, light gold with a foamy white head. .....6 1/2 months before "best by" and yet massively green-bottle skunked... Sweet, skunky grain malt/ barley flavor and taste.....a little grassy hop and a slight peppery-ness. Probably OK at the source...but not so much after the Belgium to Indiana voyage.

Bottle thanks to Dunns. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - lemon and light metallic with a pale malt background. Taste - more of the same. Light butterscotch. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - ok but not as refreshing as a lager should be.

Can. Rosy’s (no longer that cheap, cottage cheese, and still quite cheap bog roll) Emporium. Ok, this lager. Not exactly distinct from many others, although it has some hoppage. Ends up too sweet. Still necked three cans in an hour, mind you.

Pale golden colored, clear, small+ non lasting white head. Aroma is of malt, bit of grains and corn. Taste is low+ sweet malt, corn, bit grainy, bit of veggies and some low grassy bitterness. Light bodied, moderate carbonation.

Draught at le Fleurs du Malt bar, Lyon. Well at 2 € for 250 ml I won’t complain. Bright yellow. Tiny ringlet of white head on the edge of the glass. Cardboard and malt scent. Taste is a bland sweet with a touch of bitter astringency in the finish. Light touches of citrus. Substandard.

Can from Supervalu, Carrick-on-Shannon [100515]
Golden, fluffy white head
Aroma of soft cereal, light sweet malts, soft corn, slightly grassy
Taste of soft light cereal malts, touch grassy, dab of white bread, slight honey, easy going, plain lager
Palate - Soft carb, light medium body, soft sweet. Finish is clean, not much going on
Overall - Not too bad, no nasty flavours, mellow, easy going, but very plain
