Inspired by the gardens on the Isle of Eriska.
"Whilst the hotel's amazing chef was giving us a foraging tour of the island I was absolutely blown away by the tart citrus & green apple flavour of wood sorrel. Unable to put that in a
beer as large quantities can apparently knacker your kidneys, I wanted to brew something that captured that sharp fruitiness, so lots of New World hops and a wee dash of citric acid should hopefully do just that."

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Scopey, 05/02/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is tangerine, soft breads, melon, toasted grains, light vanilla. Taste comprises melon, orange peel, toasted grains, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok IPA ... middle of the road for style.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Paul. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, light creamy sweetness. Nice pine. Very modest spice. Good light tropical fruits with mellow citrus peel. Soft finish. Trace of opal fruits. Juicy and tasty.

Bottle thanks to Partizan Andy. It pours hazy orange with a tiny white head. The aroma is fresh, really juicy, orangey action to the max, kumquat, tangerine, marmalade, mango, bready, caramel, biscuit and candied peel. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, loads of juicy orange citrus, tangerine, pine needles, greenness, brioche, bread, biscuit and herbal weedy notes with an orangey finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Really nice tangerine vibes. Really nice orange vibes.
