Inspired by the gardens on the Isle of Eriska.
"Whilst the hotel's amazing chef was giving us a foraging tour of the island I was absolutely blown away by the tart citrus & green apple flavour of wood sorrel. Unable to put that in a
beer as large quantities can apparently knacker your kidneys, I wanted to brew something that captured that sharp fruitiness, so lots of New World hops and a wee dash of citric acid should hopefully do just that."

Beer52 freebie. Grassy resinous aroma but when I really breath in it gets funky. Grainy base. Opaque dark orange-amber. Thick fluffy white head. Light bitter. Fruity, but makes me think of a soft drink, one of those Italian carbonated citrus sodas with some added hops. Booze in the finish. Medium bodied. Quite light though. Fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. It's drinkable but doesn't quite work for me. As previously mentioned, makes me think of a boozy San Pellegrino. A tad on the harsh side.

Bottle. Nose is tropical fruits, mango, ripe pineapple, hint of lime. Taste is lime, grapefruit, lots of pineapple, melon, slight peppery spice, lychee, little bit thin in the mouthfeel, short finish. It's fine.

Bottle shared on Level 42, 05/02/2018. Many thanks! A clouded deep orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice jammy orange , orange rind, peach, mango, little dirty wheat, action. . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy orange, apricot jam, peach melba, wheaty grains. Palate is sticky resin, grains, highish carboantion. Not bad.

33cl bottle from Beer52. A cloudy amber pour with a billowing cream head; aroma of grapefruit and mango; spicy fruit taste; with a dry fruity finish. Just as you'd expect from a NEIPA but nothing to make it stand out.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Paul. Pours hazy orange with a small, creamy white head. The nose holds pale bread, white ape gummies. Meidum sweet flavour with further gummy candies, white grape, melon, low bitterness. Meidum bodied with soft carbonation. Lightly warming finish, with more gummy candies, pale bread, pineapple. Just OK.
