Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to Danny. Pours deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. Burnt wood in the nose, ash, leaves. Light sweet flavour, bone dry, more torched wood, minerals, plastic. Light bodied with average carbonation. Drying finish, lots of scorched earth, carpet, leaves. So so.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light dry finish. Dry tangy dark malts, little dark chocolate, also tangy. Dry and bitterish finish. Tangy, thin and bitterish. Okay, slightly clunky.

Bottle split at Bodney Mansions, thanks to Danny, 18/01/18. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is charr, spice, toffee, dusty hops, bitter fruits. Taste comprises light pine, toffee, cocoa, dried fruits, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with mellow hop bite. Passable at best.
