Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Bottle, picked up at ’Brewdog Online (I think?), consumed at Crystal Palace Campsite, London, Saturday 4th October 2014. Immensely smooth, creamy and indulgent. Black in colour with a huge foamy beige head. Everything about this seems super smooth, the roastiness, creaminess, chocolate, chillies and even the alcohol is barely noticeable it is so well intergrated. I like this but you know sometimes things need an edginess or something else to lift it and this doesn’t have that, but it is very good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

12 oz. bottle, pours an oily jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is decadent and complex, with notes of vanilla, cocoa, rich espresso and light roasted malt. Flavour is just as decadent, with lots of roasted malt upfront, followed by vanilla, subtle cocoa and very small hint of chili peppers. Silky smooth palate - this decadent treat somehow manages to avoid any cloyingness. An excellent blend of two already excellent impie stouts.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts very intense malty, stouty, notes of pepper and peat. Some coffee and bitter chocolate. Finish warming, intense malty, but still well balanced. Nice beer!

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Clear, dark brown. Halo of milky coffee coloured head. Dark chocolate caramel. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Light, woody cocoa. Taste is full on bitter. Some dryness. Plenty of vanilla for balance. Light chilli heat towards the end. Palate is fairly light, given the ABV. Finishes spicy dry. Light bitter. Subtle heat last off. Lovely desert beer, that belies its strength.
