Poured from 355mL bottle (11.9%; stamped 04619 - thinking Apr 6, 2019). Black with minimal tan head. Mild green pepper coffee forward, underlying chilli heat, feint cardboard background note that seems to be old vanilla bean, a bit boozy. Probablly has some decent flavour fresh. Now, average.

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - Black pour with tan ringed head. Roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste, rich opulent chocolate, some caramel, charred roasted burnt malty accents, nice spice notes, whisky soaked wooden action into the finish.

Bottle at home. Aroma of dark chocolate, cacao, mocha, roasted malts, more creamy cacao, milk chocolate, vanilla, mild peppers, sweetish dried fruits, coffee, espresso. Flavour is sweet with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth and rich, complex yet easily drinkable. In fact, this is remarkably drinkable considering the ABV, not boozy at all. I am floored by this beer!

This one has ended up as a solid coffee stout after all this years in the basement. And I love just that. Solid black pour and a fine tan head. Good intensity in the aroma. Decent sweetness and bitterness. Fine mellow carbonation level. Coffee, roast, chocolate and some oak in the flavor [Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden]

More rounded than the Evil Twin version, nice!

Pours a real dark brown, kind of black colour without any highlights. The head is small, mocha-coloured with hardly any retention and leaving a thin ring around the brew. The spices are felt in the nose with some coffee, light alcohol warmth and a roasted malt base. In the mouth, it is quite smooth. Not too rich. Not really thick. The spiciness helps the warming of this strong brew, but all well-balanced mildly. The coffee notes comes out lightly in the finish, lingering. Even cacao. What I thought was a weak start, just builds up nicely. Liking this.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, cacao, butterscotch, coffee, vanilla, black rye bread, peppers and raisins. Malty, roasted taste with cacao, toffee, coffee, vanilla, black rye bread, raisins, prunes and a mild chilli heat in a finish with a balanced cacao bitterness. Full body, sweet. A bit sweet and sticky, but really tasty with lots of chocolate and a mild touch of chilli. Very nice.
