Bottle from Cork & Cask (2016) and can from Greens, Crail (2025). Hazy pale golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, peach, sweet mango and strawberry. Flavour of orange, pine and underripe pineapple. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Fruity and hoppy. It’s nine years since I first tried this and it is much improved.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of grass, pine and tropical fruits. Pine comes through on the taste, tropical fruit and grapefruit. Slightly oily with minimal carbonation.

Can from Eebria. Hazy golden-amber with small white head. Aroma of light toasted grains, sweetness, stone fruits, grapefruit; understated but pleasant. Taste is more piney and bitter than the aroma suggested with toasted grain, citrus zest, grapefruit, hint of passionfruit. Quite good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow, rather big head. Medium body. Flavour is malty, sweet, a bit of bubble gum hop flavour, light pine, sweet fruitiness. Alright.

Can from Ko: pours light copper with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, biscuit, some soapy pine. Taste is lightly bitter. Standard old school IPA notes. Fine.

Keg at the Grandtully Hotel, Grandtully. Nice hopped aroma with a fair amount of cheese in there. Standard look with decent carbonation. Mature bitterness with some boozy off notes. Overall a gluggable ipa. (1/10/2021) Keg at the Russel Hotel, St Andrews. A few days later and a few points worse. No doubt, and ironicall, it was fresher up in Grandtully. 3.8 to 3.6

Panda at home, thanks to the SHIG, 10/07/21. Moderately hazed orange golden with a decent white head that stays for the show. Nose is mellow tropical fruits, melon, orange jelly, grass. Taste comprises orange zest, melon, tangerine, toasted grains, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with moderate hop bitterness. Low end basic kind of an IPA.
