Tap at Streckers, 28/02/14. Very lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is faint mellow fruits, subtle hop, muted aroma. Taste comprises light hop bill, vanilla, light citrics. Medium bodied, fine cabonation, semi drying close. Low end very simple IPA but clean and drinkable. If I came across this in the UK I think it would go down as a golden blonde or perhaps an APA. Didn’t feel it deserved an average of 2.24 mind!

Draught @ Streckers, Copenhagen. Hazy yellow color, small white to off - white head. Smell and taste malts, just lightly some hops but I guess there are enough bitter hops in the beer, since the basic bitterness of an English IPA is there. Still, I don’t really like it. Average body and carbonation.

Mild floral aroma on a slightly cloudy gold which is an off color for an IPA in my book. It has a thin body & a dry finish with a very mild hop bitterness. It is an ok beer but in no way a true IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of hops, overwhelmed by an eerie scent of honey and grain. Bitter, hoppy onset, quickly giving way to honeylike sweetness, ending dry. Very watery, almost no carbonation. Drinkable, but definitely not the best Danish IPA I have ever had.

Dark orange with a clear white head Muted simcoe and chinook. Grapefruit and some nuttiness on the nose Great bitterness. Malt and carbonation balance is great. Perhaps too astringent at the finish. I get a lot of grapefruit but its hacker by pine cones

On tap @ the brewpub. This is a hazy orangish beer with a medium sized just off-white head that's lacing down the sides of the glass. The aroma reminds me more of a thin hefeweiz than a IPA. Some wort-like tones mixed with flowers, yeast, banana?. Does most definitely not taste like a IPA this. Thin and weak oily mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. It has bitterness, but not hoppy bitterness. Thin and weak grassy and also some orange zest flavors. Why call this a IPA? It's clearly not.. 06.01.2012
