On tap at The Euston Tap, Euston, London Sunday 30th March 2014 Really good thrusting, fresh and tasty pale ale. Some malt on nose but this is soon lost amongst the citrus. Hazy appearance, bittersweet in the mouth, really juicy and fruity. Nice, in fact very nice. Sat outside weather quite warm and lots of Peterborough โPoshโ fans about fresh from their Wembley win over Chesterfield. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, bright white head. Mandarin. Light strawberry. Mineral. Taste is limestone dry. Light, peppery spice. Jammy Dodger sweetness evens things up. Pithy, crunchy bitter palate. More mineral bitterness on the finish.

Bottled, dated 24.02.14, BB 24.06.14, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, short head. Aroma of grassy hop, fresh hop flowers, hint of citrus, slight floral, hint of biscuity malt. Medium bitter in taste. Quite clean. Another great drinker.

Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear orange-golden color, full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is lightly malts, hops, pine needles. Taste malts, hops, pine needles, spruce, moderately bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Lovely session ale.

Slightly hazy blond colour. Some citrusy notes in aroma and flavour. The light sharpness keeps it fresh and easy to drink.

500 ml bottle bought @ beermerchants.com. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small bubbly offwhite head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny sweet and earth with bread, resin, moist soil, moist grass, grapefruit rinds, pine, orange wine gum candies, crackers, unripe berries and hints of green peas.ย Taste is bitter and tiny metallic with bread dough, resinous wood, pine, grapefruit rinds, earl gray tea, moist grass, orange peal, moist soil and unripe gooseberries. Mouthfeel is tiny watery, tiny round, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with grapefruit rinds, earl gray tea, bread, resinous wood and moist grass. Too resiny and rough.

Bottle at the Kernel. Happy to see this one return as I have missed it in the past. It pours hazy golden orange, with a medium white head. The nose is orange, grapefruit, lemon pith, grass and light earthy notes. The taste is zesty orange, grapefruit, apricot, tangerine pith, lemon, mineral aspect, grass and a hint of spice in the background, with a pleasantly bitter finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A classic Kernel APA!

Bottle at home (Brewery puchase in Sepโ12 label states 5.2% ABV) - 23/09/12. Pours a hazy light orange with a very thin white head that soon forms a small lake. Sweet tropical fruit tones on the nose, mandarin, apricot, nice pine whiff, hops and a little light caramel also on the nose. Taste follows the nose, slightly sharper bitter flavours than the sweeter nose suggest, mineral tones. Medium bodied, light carbonation with a bitter sweet finish. Decent!

Bottle, gift from Andrew. Hazy golden body with a medium white head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, lime jelly and tangerine. Flavour is light and fruity, with a chalky lime quality. Very refreshing. Thin body with a light, oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Columbus reminds me of Amarillo.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and lemons, leading to a very bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
