This American style brown ale is a delicious balance of lightly toasted English malts and punchy Cascade hops. Delightfully quaffable with a great bitter finish.

Cask boost at GBBF boost. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, oily, brown bread, toasted nut, varnish, sweat and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, brown bread, tannin, black tea, bark, toasted nut and plaice with a drying finish. Light to medium body and low carbonation. Oily as fuck. Not great tannic.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 9/2/2017. Cooper in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Hoppy brown ale, with some bready malts, citrus hops and a touch of hedgerow and orange fruit, before a soft finish. Enjoyable.
