Bottle split at Jote haus, Santa Rosa, 04/02/16. Hazed crimson orange with a decent off white swirl. Nose is sharp pink grapefruit, straw, funk, pissy citrics, on the turn nectarine. Taste comprises bitter citric shreds, tangerine, light balsa, funk, light plum notes, sharp citric zip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering finale. Solid sour.

Bottle. Pours hazy link lemonade, medium off white head, dissipates quickly with kids of residual and nice lacing. Aroma is lovely Brett, oak, plum, stonefruit, passionfruit. Flavor is light plus tart, fruity, nice gestating clean Brett notes, lite funk overall, nice oaky finish, clean and crisp. Medium body. OK, I’m gonna say it. This one flirts with Hill farmstead in terms of mastery of the style. Doesn’t have the mouthfeel thanks to Sean’s magic well water, but otherwise outstanding.

Draft at the willows. Translucent reddy orange coloured pour with a lasting thin off white head. Aroma is nice, juicy tropical fruit, pollen floral hop. Mango and lychee with a good bit of nice funk. Flavour is composed of tart apricot. Apple, rubber, lacto, wheat grains, zingy citrus. Palate is crisp and tart, highish carbonation . drying finish. I quite like this.
