Almanac tap takeover at PreFunk Nampa Hazy golden with a small brief head. Nice tart plum flavors. Bret funk was moderate and complimentary. Quite good

375mL bottle, pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out complex bretty notes, a touch of stone fruits, some dry hopping, and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite complex, with loads of tart plums and truckloads of brett upfront, followed by tart citrus. Fairly dry and fruity, with only low-to-medium tartness. Complex and well-balanced. Excellent.

Bottle poured. Pours a glowing peach orange color with a lasting fizz head. Big time tart orange fruit aroma. Juicy, sour grape, plum and mixed berry with a brett background. So easy to drink. Prefect tart. Fruit juice and a lingering sour plum. One of the best from these guys here. I still think these guys rule the sour beer market right now. Beer after beer they are all amazing. Loved it. Also, open a brewpub.

Sample at EBF 2016 Fruity plum flavor gives this quite a vinous feel. Light earthy funk with a sharp tart citric/lactic bite to it. Fantastic sour ale.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours hazy orange cream with a slight white head. Aroma is sort of fruity swear sox. In a peachy plum way. Med body at least. Flavor is very plum, red, lightly tart plum, and it is a bit peach. This has to be one of the tastiest "sours" from Almanac. Kudos to Hermitage as well.

Draft Extreme Beer Fest 2016. Almost pink in color, no head. Aromas shows mild Brett, oak, plums and hints of undetermined berries. Maybe blackberry hints.

Flavor does have plenty of fruit but I think the plum is here only in suggestion. The wine barrel gives the tart and slightly funky notes in the backend of the sip. Carbonation provides a tingle over the palate with a medium / leaning on lighter body. Crisp aftertaste. I like the sum of all the parts here. And for me to give a high score to a sour, it really says something about the craftsmanship. And I didn’t get any vinegar, holy hell!!!!!

Bottle shared at JoeT’s during RBWG 2016. Pours unclear pink with a creamy white head. Really clean nose, some grapefruit, hibiscus, lemon. Light sweet flavor with subtle funk, mild lemony acidity, a little mint. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Dry and lean on the finish, with notes of lemon, grapefruit, mint, hibiscus, peach. Great stuff overall.
