This dark wild ale was fermented in oak barrels and allowed to age over a year. Dark and roasty, with aromas of cherry pie and funk with a tart and dry finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber with a filmy head. The nose holds acetic notes, tangy berries, leather. Light sweet flavor with moderate acetic burn, more leathery berries, light vinegar, wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Further acetic bite on the finish, ripe berries, earth, leather. Fine.

Draught at Bear Republic. Almost clear brown liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of lemon, apple skin, wood, toast and light roasted malt. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of lemon, apple skin and light toast. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Keg at the brewpub, Healdsburg, 04/02/16. Reddish amber with a decent beige swirl. Nose is tarte red berries, acidic tunes, piss tinged oak, Chewbaccas crotch. Taste comprises tarte red grape, vinous, wood must, damp blanket, sharp cherry skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with rising acidity. Decent xour red.

Tap at Pangea in Sacramento, CA. Pours ruddy orange brown. dark and hazy, with a beige head. Sour red berry aroma. Mes + body. Flavor is sour, malty and red berry. Finishes sour with a bit of malt. Nice.

[2/15/15] Draught at Noc Noc in San Francisco. Murky brown. Sourish aroma, slightly spicy, with some fruitiness and a vinous touch. Sour flavor, funky and lactic, with fruitiness. Medium-bodied.

Draft. Amber-brown beer with a dark cream head. Light malt aroma. Tart/light sour flavor with light lemon and light darker malts. Medium bodied. Tart/light sourness lingers with light cherry, light lemon, and light dark malts.
