Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Faded black with a decent tan cap. Nose is apple pie, toffee, spice, cinnamon, breads. Taste comprises biscuit malt, treacle toffee, candied fruits, ginger, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Far removed from my idea od an altbier but an ok offering for what it is!

2015 autographed bomber a gift from Furiousdman. Nose is light spices with a moderate funky note. Until I read the label description I thought it was a brett ale. Obviously the bottle had some brett somehow. Not bad as a wild ale but I wished for a bunch of bourbon barrel.
