On tap @ the brewpub during RateBeer weekend. Dark reddish brown appearance with a thin light brown head. Roasty coffee, dark chocolate, and light smoke in the aroma. The flavor is herbal, earthy, and smoky with plenty of chocolate. Pretty good - one of the best during my visit.

Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Black topped with a tan swirl. Nose is coffee grinds, spice, chocolate, roast malt. Taste comprises coffee cake, nice espresso tunes, light charr, chocolate biscuit, roast malt, toffee fudge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid coffee affair, plenty of depth for the ABV.
